The LunarWalk system prevents injuries caused from sleepwalking by alerting “guardians” when sleepwalkers trigger a motion sensor. This project aims to reduce over 10 million annual sleepwalking injuries.
The Homebase systems uses paired cubes to remind family member to stay connected in person. When the cubes are activated, family members are invited to join together and spend a few moments of their day in a shared space.
The HydroHome system uses a motion sensing shower-head to dispense less water when the user steps away and more water when the user gets closer. HydroHome aims to reduce water consumption by as much as 66% per shower.
The OmniSense system allows users to remotely track their personal food inventory via sensors stored in closets and pantries. This information can later be accessed on an accompanying app to create personalized, real time shopping lists.
